OurCinema
OurCinema is a private Windows desktop application for managing a shared movie and series library for two people.
What the app does
OurCinema stores a local library of movies, series, ratings, reviews, watch history, wish lists, series progress and personal interface preferences.
The application is local-first: the primary working database is stored on the user's own device. Google synchronization is optional.
Why OurCinema uses Google
If the user enables cloud synchronization, OurCinema uses Google APIs only to let the user select or create an OurCinema library file and synchronize that selected library between authorized devices.
OurCinema requests the limited drive.file permission. It does not request access to the user's entire Google Drive and does not scan unrelated Drive files.
What OurCinema does not do
- No advertising.
- No sale of user data.
- No analytics or tracking on this website.
- No use of Google user data for advertising, AI model training, or AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery.
- No access to unrelated Google Drive files.
Privacy
